Sold Tseng ET4000 W32i VLB and Radeon 9800 PRO

Selling these 2 video cards as not working.

The card is in good looking condition. I reflowed the pins on the main chip as some of them were floating. Some pins are still oxidized and solder didn't stick properly, but they do have contact with the pad. I don't have a motherboard with VLB slot. I tested on a 16bit ISA and there is no image on the screen. I don't know if the card is not working or needs a full VLB slot to initialize. Judging by the available ram chips, it's a 1 MB card.

Palit Radeon 9800 PRO with 256 MB

The card displays image but with artifacts. One of the molex pins was heavily oxidized (the 5V one) and I thought the RAM was not getting the full 5V, hence the artifacts. I replaced the molex connector and the problem was not solved. The card does come with it's box, which is in good condition. There is nothing else in the box, no accessories.

I managed to get a 486 motherboard with VLB and tested the Tseng card — it posts perfectly. It looks like it won’t work in a standard ISA slot after all. It needs a full VLB slot to initialize. Anyway, I’m not sure what I’ll do with the card now, but I’m definitely not selling it for 50 EUR.

Someone can go ahead and close this thread, please.
