I have this programmer thingy with parallel cable and even a 12V PSU.

I managed to read a few chips with it but the vast number of jumper settings and configurations made me to give up trying to understand how it works.
Also I don't have much pc-s left with parallel cable (zero) and PCI parallel cards and USB->parallel converters don't really work with it.

I would have needed to buy an adapter for DIP40 (Kickstart) EPROMS and that's where I gave up. I did buy one but unfortunately it was an ADP-15 (For 27C400 which is the kickstart-compatible EPROM it needs an ADP-054).

Asking for £40 for the programmer (Paypal as gift), parallel cable and the 12V power brick. Postage to UK is free.

Just to reiterate, I have no idea if it can actually burn anything but it definitely read the BIOS from one of my Tekram SCSI cards. Probably can, probably can't but bought as new not a long ago.

It probably works in someone's capable hands but not in mine.
