Hi Folks,

Some of you might have read this story already as I published it over 10 chapters here and at EAB however I'm adding it to my blog and thought those who missed it first time round might like to read about my return to the Amiga scene and the journey that saw me build up my Amiga collection.

Chapter 1 is here:

http://www.fitzstevesamigaworld.co.uk/?p=139

I hope you enjoy, I'm also going to try and be more active with news and reviews. I'm hoping to get hold of the new Rapid USB and a Prisma sound card when they come out and intend to do some reviews and Videos :)

Thanks for reading!

Steve.

thanks for taking the time to do this Steve! Your posts are always interesting and informative - I look forward to reading more.

Steve do you remember how much u paid for your amiga1200 at the car boot fair?
The only Amiga stuff I've seen at CBF is some Amiga mags.

Yep, it was £20 in 2002! :-)

:whistleblower: Erhm.. No ancient price discussions please! :) Ok well, I traded a table lamp (worth £5) for a nice boxed A600HD (but with no mouse) with my cousin in 1999. Then after messing around for a weekend with a few games briefly, I've traded the A600HD for a used PeeCee 2x CD burner with a guy at work - I thought I made such a fantastic deal :picard And now after all these years one of the few systems missing from my collection is a mint boxed A600HD. I have several brand new mice though.:-? But who amongst us doesn't have a story like this?

Anyway - excellent blog, please let's have chapter 2 ASAP! I guess it will take a while to get to the WarpEngine 060 adapter - will try finish it in time.
