As explained in the hardware issues forum thread.. I have 2 CD32 consoles that seem to be on the blink.
1st console has sound issues - it starts off very quiet and distorted and slowly fades back to normal as you play.. it also has a broken power switch.. It wasn't working properly and I was a bit rough with it and now it's broken..
So : broken power switch.. sound problems
2nd console is fine except for a faulty controller port.. when a game starts the arrow on a menu system or character in game moves on it's own accord and cannot be stopped. It even does it with no controller plugged in.
So from this I assume both motherboards need recapping.. and the power switch on the first needs fixing / replacing.
Can anyone help me with this, or recommend someone trustworthy and reliable in the UK to do this for me for a reasonable price?
