I have a Triton Lite installed on my A4000T using 3.2.2.1, the software is installed and seems to be working (it detects a card reader etc)

When I put a USB stick in, it won't show up on Workbench, what am I missing?

Thanks guys

What type of USB stick is it? I guess modern ones are not fully compatible (although it's just a guess, as I'm using a RapidRoad module instead).

Can you recommmend one please? Do we have something that reads NTFS and exFAT?
This one is one of the most popular for FAT: https://aminet.net/package/disk/misc/fat95

I doubt NTFS and exFAT are properly supported on OS 3.x, there was NTFS driver backported from AROS on Aminet, but I don't know the state of it. Never heard about using exFAT on OS 3.x.

So if I install Fat95 it'll read removable Fat32 devices, right? I don't need to mess with mountlists or anything?

I own a couple of Triton Boards. So to Start from the beginning.

- You have installed Chris Hodges USB Stack Posiedon V4.5?
- You have setup Posiedon via the Trident Prefs to connect up the Trident board to the USB stack with the appropriate Trident drivers? I.e if Zorro 2 mode you used the Trindent ZII driver, Zorro 3 mode you used the Trident ZIII driver? Then saved this?
- Trident/Posiedon shows the Trident board as being on-line?

FAT95 is just another filesystem that get placed in L: to allow to read and write FAT16 or FAT32 formatted USB devices.

Posiedon V4x provides all the relevant drivers and mounts for a USB device to be connected.

Yes. All installed and working. But won't recognise my SD card in SD Card reader (it detects the SD card reader). Nor my USB drive.

SD card is formatted as FAT16 or FAT32? If so then great, you can use the FAT95 in L: as this will detect it.
If NTFS or exFAT. Sorry no dice as Amiga OS3x has no Filesystem for them.

Just to add. The card can also be seen if setup in HDTOOLBOX with a FFS filesystem via a SD Card reader. You need to run something like this in Amigashell HDToolBox usbscsi.device

Should be a good tester.

Got the USB stick working. Woohoo!! USB after all these years 😀

Still can't get the card reader working though.

Any pointers? It shows up in Trident

What make is the card reader? Does the card reader need more power?
Which SD card make have you tried? I tend to find sandisk cards work fine.
