good question,i think someone else asked as well.cant remember where though.

It states "do not buy if machine only supports 720k floppies", it only works in 1.44 mb high density mode so it might be a bit of a gamble if it works or not with the Amiga's floppy controller.

I googled around a bit and apparently they only support FAT (which would work in CrossDOS, but no autoboot :( ) and they don't work like HxC where you can select from floppy images on the SD card, but instead the USB stick works as ONE floppy disc  Not very practical then. Too bad. I guess they are made for industrial machines and such.

yeah I found that a bit of a no-no myself, even a 32 GB usb stick would only be 1.44 MB. Not worth it.

But it reads (new version supports 100 floppy on one USB) ?

Yeah a bit confusing. Top of page says 100 floppies on 1 stick, and bottom of page says each stick is 1.44 MB. Not that it matters much as it only supports PC formatted images anyway. Shame really.

I contacted the seller to see if it's possible to use with Amiga formatted disks, not expecting much else than a generic reply but we'll see

I did the same, seller tell he doesn't have any Amiga computer to test it, and that i should search in the net :-D

Seems like a PC format only solution thought... and with some doubts (i asked too about writting and not only reading and he didn't awnser about)

I think you would be much better of with the HxC2001. At least it says it supports Amiga, and can do a lot more than 100 floppies on an SD card. There is a USB one that requires a host instead of an SD card, but I don't see how that's very useful myself. Yeah it does cost more though.
