FREEWAY Clockport USB Card for A1200, or other Amiga Computers equipped with Clockport:
Code:
This card connect's to the clockport connector and is addressed by the following addresses:
$d80001, $d84001, $d88001 and %d90001
It has 4 USB ports consisting of two double USB headers (1x cable with 2 USB ports is included)
Built with brand new components from Digikey & Mouser, except USB chip from China
The card has been tested on different Amiga computers like: A500, A1000, A1200+Vampire, CDTV and A2000...
You can add such USB interfaces like network, printer or portable drives to Your Amiga...
[B]Caution![/B] it wasn't possible for us to test all possible combinations, because of leak of hardware, because of that some combinations may not work!
Transfer speed is about 550 - 600kb/s on a regular A500/A2000 with 30 CPU.
You can work with it reasonable, but if you expect the speed of a Deneb or RR - better don't buy it. This USB chip does not get any faster.
The cost for the card includes the license costs for the official and mature Poseidon driver. Keep in mind, Poseidon stack is quite ressource - hungry, it needs at least 020, better 030 CPU!
tested and fully working condition, asking 110€ + shipping
Caution! Please read carefully!
Unfortunately Commodore haven't built-in any reverse polarity protection for the CP (it would be very hard to do), after all, you can attatch the cable completely twisted, one pin shifted to the right or left, or the whole row up or down, so it is not idiot proof device and needs Your full attention while You installing it! that's why it's better to check twice before you switch the computer on with Clockport device attached!

Because of that no returns are accepted. Each card will be tested before it is sent out, so we are absolutely sure You'll get a nice working card..
PS
we do accept damaged cards for repair, but sending card back and forth isn't cheap for overseas customers!
