Apart from gaming, that is?

I've spent a lot of time and money gathering up what I consider to be a very capable little machine. It'll take pride of place next to my macbook and raspberry pi - just as soon as I work out some proper ways to put it to work.

So I'm looking for suggestion please :)

What do you do with yours?

You can dabble with various emulators such as shapeshifter, you'll get good results on an 040.

Demo's , emulation , animation , OS4, Advanced workbench

as for games , 90 percent work on an 00 or 020

an 040 makes working with bigger harddrives / file systems a pleasure. try viewing a full hard drive on an 00 or 020

The Amiga is a joy to use with an 040

Demoscene - there are many demos that require 040 or even 060/80Mhz. So, as I posted previously, if you have 040 you can upgrade to 060 very easily.
Bear in mind that 040 tends to get hot in a desktop case. That doesn't concern 060.

You can listen to mp3 on your Amiga. Using Prayer works like charm. You can find it on Aminet.
Scummvm, which allows you to play many adventure games - but that's also games.
