I bought a PCMCIA CF card reader with San Disk Extreme 16 GB CF from AmigaStore.eu.
This San Disk Extreme PRO 16 GB CF works without problems. It shows the CF card in Workbench.
I use the latest 1.33 version of CFD and latest version of FAT95.

I have some San Disk 16 GB ultra, but cannot get it to work.

Which format cluster size in Windows 10 do I need to format?

I use SD to PCMCIA card readers albeit only 8GB in size. As for format I use FAT32 at the default size.

IIRC the A1200 PCMCIA slot has a 4GB max size limit for storage. CF card for PC transfer is usually formatted FAT32 on PC.

If that’s the case. How come I can use a 8GB SD Card with PCMCIA Adapter without issue formatted as FAT32?

FAT32 has a 4GB file size limit. But I believe the max size you can use on CF and SD is around 32GB as whole storage media.

I thought the address bus for the PCMCIA slot only allows 4GB. I'm maybe confusing hardware stat with the magic of software implementation. Similar to what PFS3AIO does for larger drives. You're right. I think for transferring information, the packet size has a limit, not the card size.

Kickstart 3.2.2 should have no problems, I stated the question a few months ago about size wise limit of the PCMCIA, and theoretically that should be 2TB, so therefor my question using 64GB or 128GB. That should work cause I have 128GB SD's now running as harddrive's and PCMCIA makes use of the IDE also, if I am not mistaken. I do however still experience formatting problems in WinUAE, so the setup of partitions has to be done on a real A1200, then I can set it up in WinUAE like copying all programs and games to the card

On the website of AmigaStore.eu you can buy a PCMCIA card with 16 GB CF card. This CF card is SanDisk Extreme 16 GB.
I have several Sandisk Ultra 16 GB CF card and these doesn't show it in Workbench.
