Question is whether it includes the existing pre-orders as mailed to Kipper2k.
Anyway, I declared interest in a V500 - I think my 500+ needs to have one of those. :)

this turbo card shoulld be called "VIRTUAL TURBO CARD"

I'd absolutely love one of these for my restored A500 but after my bad experience with Brian and the Vampire cards for the A600. I frankly don't feel like having my time wasted for another 5-6 months just to be disappointed again. They couldn't even be bothered to appologise the last time.

And if that's what you want a Pi3 running UAE4ARM is about the same speed. Reason I know is because we benchmarked the two at an Amiga meet.

Because its not actually an accelerator, its more akin to winuae on an fpga

No, it is a fully fledged accelerator just with a CPU implemented in an FPGA and not an ASIC. It is nothing like UAE. The Amiga's original custom chipset is still used despite what many people claim. The Amiga will be degraded to a 'docking station' once they release a standalone Vampire but the current Vampires does not contain implementations of the custom chips except for a few select parts like the IDE controller (Gayle).

If my Amiga is going to be rendered redundant anyways, I might as well save myself €300 and use UAE. You are right the Vampire is nothing like UAE, the latter is a lot cheaper and gives round about the same performance. At least that's what we proved with a £35 RPI3.

Do you have a means of contact for Brian by chance? I'm pretty sure my Vampire was lost in the mail, but I can't get a reply from him or majsta.

Your best bet is probably to see if you can get a hold of him on IRC:

I think irc is probably your best bet, they ignore all my emails bar one. I'd been on the waiting list for a Vampire for a while when I finally received an email saying mine was ready. Brian sent me the invoice totally neglecting to inform me that the price had increased, I emailed him about it (twice) and received no response. I had to come on here to find out what the heck was going on, I ask you is that how to treat customers or a fellow Amiga enthusiast?
I'd heard they were honouring orders made before the price increase but I was offered no such consideration not even a 'sorry we've wasted your time and not told you'. I asked to be removed from their mailing list and they continued sending me updates and emails about developments in the months that followed. It was only when I said I was going to report them for unsolicited mail that they finally stopped bothering me. And THAT was the one and only time I ever got a reply apologising for emails, nothing else sadly.

After that experience and the attitude of some people on here it's really made me question why I'm in this hobby, it lost some of that community feel for me.

Does anyone know if the HDMI now works for all screen modes. I know in the past they were going to fix that with a an upgrade but did it happen? In other words can you play games, load workbench etc via the HDMI port with an LCD without needing a regular monitor as well?
