Up for sale is a VIA C3 Nehemiah 1.2AGHz (133 x 9.0). This is what I believe is the fastest Nehemiah in FPGA form. CPU works flawlessly, tested by myself.
For those of you wondering, you can think of these CPUs as a K6+ on steroids. The multiplier is unlocked allowing you to go from 4x-16x with the help of a little utility called SETMUL which also allows you to manipulate L1 and L2 cache. What this all means is that with this CPU you can have a really powerful DOS system (at ~1400MHz the Nehemiah is on par with a Coppermine 700-733) that can go as low as you want it to using different FSB settings (66MHz, 100MHz, 133MHz), multipliers and cache options. On top of all this, the CPU is really low power at just ~15W.
Compatibility is quite good, I've had great success with 440BX boards using slotket adapters and VIA Apollo Pro 133A boards (as well as a SiS 630 that I have for sale
). POST screen will show incorrect reading, but everything works as it should
.
In any case, I'm asking 20E for the CPU + shipping which should be really low (expect around 4 euro within Europe).
