Declaring interest. Pending knowing which cpu it has, is it the 1000mhz c3 Nehemiah core? And does it have sound blaster compatible sound in bios? Thanks.

As far as I can tell this board includes an EBGA packaged VIA C3 E-series CPU as opposed to the VIA Eden CPU. Is this enough to determine which core is used? I could not find any information on the actual CPU clock speed.

I didn't see any options related to Sound Blaster in the BIOS settings; only AC97 audio is mentioned.

Ok. Interest declined then, sorry. For what I see in regards to that model it most likely has the vt8235 southbridge which is too new to support that sound blaster compatibility. The Cpu should be the Nehemiah core 1ghz part but it could also be an older core at 800mhz.

I did some more testing with the board, and I can now confirm that the CPU is indeed a VIA C3 with the Nehemiah core running at 1 GHz. I have updated the original post with more details on the board and a photo of the PCI device listing shown during booting.

Interest withdrawn for now if its still available later on ill come back to it.

interest withdrawn thanks

although the VT1616 is dos compatible the VT8235 South Bridge prevents any dos support
