What did the other uk 80s computers offer?

Yeah MSX is worth considering for me from the angle of curiosity about all those MSX games that I ended up playing on the NES back in the day. Most interesting are the Konami games like Vampire Killer (Castlevania) and Metal Gear.

I warmly recommend getting a MSX2, if you're in the market for an MSX compatible. More memory, better graphics, 3,5" disk drive by default and, if you're lucky, a superimposer. You can find those relatively cheap from the Dutch ebay and also from here.

I think it is enough with microsoft basic on my commodores, i'm not going for one of microsofts first attempts for world dominance.
