I heard a record played on the radio the other day and it took me right back to 1993 when it was hammered on MTV Europe and back to gaming on my beloved A600 that I had at the time.

The video was trippy as :censored: but the girl was strangely attractive, for reasons that I couldn't (and still can't) quite fathom out...

Red hair+ braces+big white scary pants+hobnail boots+gingham dress= sexy? I'm till not sure about that.... but the track is massive!! It's like Bjork fronting a 311 tribute band...

What is the track? it's the totally awesome Hobo Humpin' Slobo Babe by the Swedish band Whale. They totally rocked!! Whale FTW!!

So, what track defines your glory retro computing days....??

Ok... I just watched the video for that song (without the sound) and I'm scared. She's totally scary! :D

For me, just about any 80's song does it. Probably because I hardly ever listen to music from that era.

I have no idea why late 80's / early 90's Enya songs remind me of Amiga.
Maybe my Dad was playing it downstairs at the time I was having a Blast on the 1200.

For me, it was far more about the MOD files than contemporary pop music. :-)

Genesis "the Brazillian" from the invisible touch album, reminds me of of My C64 and the John Romita jr editions of The Uncanny XMen (around issues 180-211) probably cos thats what I listened to back then

I wouldn't say it was a particular Band or track that was nostalgic for me. I use to love the Graphic Spin out trance demos such as Spaceballs, Jesus On E's (Jesus One's) BudBrain, etc...

When I listen to the A Momentary Lapse of Reason album by Pink Floyd it brings back memories of around the time it came out and my Amiga usage. I guess because it got played quite a bit back then.

"It's worse than that, he's dead, Jim...." - classic!!

This reminds me; what was the Amiga disc that had "I'm a doctor, not a bricklayer!" and "By golly Jim, I'm beginning to think that I can cure a rainy day!" samples on it..??

I think they came from a CU Amiga coverdisk or other. I have those samples about somewhere. I also have the "They've taken Mr. Rimmer" one from Red Dwarf :-)

Kryten: "Sir! They've taken Mr. Rimmer!"
Cat: "Let's get the Hell out of here, before they bring him back!!"
and the all-time classic
Rimmer: "Boys from the Dwarf..."

 Thanks, Blankstare...

On the Amiga Mod tracks front, it takes a lot to beat "Get Down Em" by Anchoret for me....complete with Blackadder quotes in it....;)
