Ebay?
Amibay?
Car boots?
Retro Shop(Links of it would be nice:thumbsup: )

I buy mine from either Ebay, Car Boots or Amibay....

There is only Retro Shop in Barnsley which is Computer Exchange

Cant get to carboots as i dont drive and none are local so its either here, world of spectrum, ebay or even amazon.

there are some retro shops online but i find those expensive.

Amibay, ebay, huuto.net, flea markets and recycling centers.

Erm... Amibay?

So, yeah, I look on eBay occasionally, and sometimes I'll buy from AmigaKit or Vesalia for new stuff. On rare occasions I get to car boot sales, I check those too, but mostly it's Amibay.

I have been to carboots the last 12 months and only see playstation 1's.

Saw 1 Master system 2 and 2 N64's in all that time.

Stopped going now :(

Oh... I thought only second-handed products. Add AmigaKit also then. :)

Ebay/Amibay.
As above don't get to car boots as i don't drive. Also se to check ot Gamestation as they carried sega cartidge games and such bt not so much anymore.

I know, the general public have all latched onto fleabay now, hence all the LOL prices

Here (obviously), with a smattering of Gumtree, Freecycle and the Bay of E's...

I run an ad once a month on the local freecycles, though I have had threats from doing so, some crack addict reckons I am "taking valuable items off gullable people who dont realise and then selling them on ebay..."
Had 1xA500 (with C= key!!!) and 2x1200`s (stock) all now upgraded...
And the people in question where really happy I had enthusiasm for the kit :)

ebay mostly, some amibay. just that what I need is usually not available here. some few stuff locally at finn.no (classified) or qxl (auction site).

A couple of items I've had given to me by my customers, and not just computer equipment too, some of them know I'm a radio nerd so I get offered bits an bobs like that too.

My last few notable donations, a mint pair of Ruark Hi-Fi speakers, A Musical Fidelity P170/P172 Amp/Pre-Amp combo, Meridian CD200 CD transport with CD203 DAC.. Amiga 2000 with various cards, BBC B (Must dig that out of my mates barn. At the time I was short on space and put it there "for a few weeks." This was nigh on a year ago...) , Amstrad PCW9256 (I think it is), and my CBM PET complete with 4040 floppy drive unit, a load of brochures and magazines from that era and some floppy disks.

That PET was a laugh, all that gear weighed a ton as you can imagine and the bloke who insisted I can have it also insisted on bringing it all to me himself. He's nearly 80 and must weigh about 6 stone dripping wet.

I stopped using ebay for retro stuff 8 years ago, I don't need to explain the reasons. Now I'm using it just for cheep Chinese things with free postage. Although in the past it was quite nice. I once bought there a bundle of 5 non working 1581 drives (that all turned out to be working perfectly) for almost nothing. There were also other nice finds, like white SFD1001 that seem to be the only one like this in existence, few pet's etc.

On occasion I check local classifieds (Currently nothing much there except for a few overpriced C64's and Amiga 1200's)

Also when I have enough time I check the Zagreb flea market. Sellers there are mostly gipsy people that collect and resell bulky waste (and almost all drive >25 old Opel Kadett's ), but you can find amazing things there for just a few €. Last time I went there, I almost stepped on one A1200. BTW I bought it for less then 2€. (The price was so ridiculous so I think It's OK to disclose it regardless of no price discussion rule.) Here is how this looks like: http://www.spottedbylocals.com/zagreb/hrelic-flea-market/
