Hi.

I'm happy to now have at home the ability to burn my own eproms on the PC (just waiting an USB to parallel adapter) or the Amiga.

I'm now looking for suitable sticker for UV Eproms.

I have read that plain paper taped on the UV window won't do it and can cause loss of data in the long term. It seems that i need aluminium or thick plastic stickers. Where do you find yours?

By the way, beware of LED fans! I used to have a nice blue led fan on my old WarpEngine (now sold) in my A4000, and i also had a blue extractor fan in my A2000. They can cause too much light on your UV eprom chips inside the case.

or get some metalic floppy stickers or any metalic stickers made

I use floppy disk label sheets that have small pre cut sticker tabs that fit the chip perfectly. The rom I sent you has this sticker.

I use a Dymo label maker. The advantage of using one is that you can write the contents of the ROM on the label. :)

Look at these nice stickers from Cosmos' blog:

I would like to be able to print something like that.

By the way, i have received my USB-parallel cable.

It seems that my Willem burner can't work with it because this adapter is not a Legacy LPT port but just a printing service. I have tried Win 7 and i have even dig out my old EEEPC701 which is my last Win XP machine.
So i'm stuck.

I would need my old HP laptop which had a true LPT but it is stored in my remote storage room. My wife would kill me if i bring another computer at home.

So i have to find a solution with what i have at home:

1/ Win 7 laptop
2/ Win XP EEEPC 701
3/ Mac Mini G4 Os X Tiger
4/ Amiga 1200
5/ Amiga 500 Plus
6/ Amiga 2000 with active bridgeboard but no ISA LPT card
7/ Atari Falcon 030 maybe?

Is there a software for the Willem burner for AmigaOS, TOS, Os X Tiger, or MSDOS (if i find a LPT ISA board for my A2000)?

i would try option 2 or option 1 in administrator if they have a parralel port.

you should try to use it with an external supply as well i think running it from the usb with some eproms may not work.

No parallel port on 1 and 2 unfortunately, only USB, and USB-parallel adapters don't do the trick.

sorry i cant think of any other way to do it,it has to be through a epp port.not an adaptor.

I use a DYMO with Silver Metallic 12mmx4mm. Probably enough in itself, but I put a little metallic tape over the UV window first as well.
