Hi, I want to replace the scsi CD drive in my A4000D with an IDE drive. It will just run off the motherboard IDE connection. I've seen that the Liteon drives are recommended for their size (the scsi is a very tight fit).
Been looking on eBay and found a few different ones for sale which are only 170mm deep but I wondered if any of you could recommend specific models. If I get a DVD writer will I be able to burn CDs and DVDs?
Any models known to not work on an A4000?
Thanks.

It says 52x32x52x on the front, which signifies the speeds it reads and writes at but no other model info. I think with most LiteOns you are OK, Ive had a few in my Amigas over the years, Im pretty sure you will be fine with one
