I've picked up a RAM card for my phoenix board.

I haven't received it yet - but I've no idea which way to install it in the board!

My phoenix board has no indication as to which is pin 1 on the zorro slot.

I've found this picture that has a sticker saying back plate towards front:

(linked for size)

but that still doesn't mean much to me sinze the card doesn't have a backplate on it...

any advice would be appreciated :)

Usually, the front side of the card (with the components on) would have the mounting bracket to the right of the card, if you assume the Zorro connector is at the bottom.

(There's a GVP EGS card, from Amiga.resource, to show how Zorro cards are usually laid out)

Of course, I can't guarantee that your RAM card is the same, and it's quite likely you'll bugger it up if it's wrong, but that's certainly the most likely. Hopefully someone else will come along and say for sure.
