I have retrieved today a faulty BVision from my A1200T and noticed that 3 very little yellow chips measuring not more than 1 mm located next to the permedia2 chip and another chip where missing.
Two pins going to the video ram seem also to be a little damaged making some contact/maybe short circuit with the pins next to them.
Before I took the card from the tower, the monitor showed a screen with stripes with some weird icons, a complete half of the screen was totaly black.
Who could repair that kind of card which need some precise soldering work ? I never had the need to send a card for repair. Does any repair center exist for that kind of problem ?:help:
