Will a SoundBlaster AWE64 EISA card work in an A2000?

I understand the card would probably be fine working with a bridge card, UNIX, or Linux, but is it possible to use it on the Amiga side in Workbench versions up to 3.x?

Short answer - no (btw it's an ISA card, not EISA)
Without the bridgeboard the ISA slots on the A2000 are only useful for supplying power, they don't communicate with the rest of the system.
The same applies to your other question about the Adaptec ISA (not EISA) 1540/2 CF card.

Ah, gotcha. I didn't realize it was a 16-bit ISA card. Well, I appreciate the info!
