Will A1200 Floppy drive Teac FD-235F work with A3000?

I have a question, maybe someone knows: Is the Amiga 1200 floppy drive compatible with the A3000? I plugged it in but nothing loads. Motor spinning, the mechanism is tickingg but nothind loads. Maybe they are not compatible or my floppy drive is not working - I bought it on ebay "just as is it”.

As I have been modifying drives for a while, I will put in my two shillings: PC floppies ship with DF1: set, DC enabled but no notice to pin 2, and RDY disabled.
An Amiga drives expect DF0:, DC disabled with a signal (trace of wire) to Pin 2, and RDY enabled.

As a cost savings decision, the ESCOM A1200 (and 4000T) drives were more PC like than Amiga like, while the A2000/3000/4000D used non-PC drives.
