The recent site problems seemed to have caused me a major problem on my PC.

I've got 6 HDs on my PC.

The main C drive is fine and all data can be seen.

The other 5 are a different story :double All are reporting the used/free space correctly. When I scan the drives with my virus scanner (Avira) all files can be seen.

Open the drive in Explorer and the system reports as "This folder is empty"

The command prompt also shows them as empty.

Any ideas how to get the data back so I can see it?

Disk check? Sounds like your drive index got FUBAR'd . Windows 7 Error-Checking should fix the index though.

In folder options set show all files.
Then select all > properties > unset the hidden attribute.

(at least thats how I did it on a clients system that seemed to "lose" all his documents)

Thank guys.

Wolfy spot on matey. God knows how it got changed though.

One drive done four more to go.
