Can anyone tell me what wireless network cards are compatible with the A1200?

Is anyone here using a wireless card? If so what is it and how well does it work?

And what software is needed to get them working, and where it can be found/downloaded? Aminet?

Thanks.

With prism2.device you can try your luck.

Also AmigaKit sells PCMCIA wireless cards especially for A1200 with EasyNet program. (y)

A Netgear Ma401 is what I use, alongside Prism.device. There is a list of all working compatible cards around somewhere on EAB.

I have (now) two Orinoco cards. One Bronze (working) and one Silver (dead as a doornail).

The best of the package is the Orinoco Gold. A Silver model can be upgraded by simply replacing the firmware.

I use an Orinoco also (don't know the model since the sticker doesn't say silver or gold) and it works like a charm on both A1200 and A600.

You can check the pic below (sorry for the suxz0rz quality)

As I no doubt guessed, I'd completely forgotten about that thread. Thanks for the link. Will prove most useful. (y)

ps. And I will finally utilise it to add the info to the CA wiki next week too.
