Workbench 3.1 Pointer colour issues

Hey folks,

I have an Amiga 600 with an ACA620 accelerator, which I've just upgraded the Kickstart ROM to 3.1 from 2.05. After doing this I upgraded the Workbench installation on CF from 2.1 (38.35) to 3.1 (40.42).

Everything's hunky dory apart from the mouse/wait icons - the colours are messed up as if the palette entries are incorrect. If I edit using Pointer Preferences the proper colours are restored until the next boot.

Any ideas as to how I might fix this?

Never mind, my Google-fu failed me earlier, found the solution over on EAB.

Seems the palette file on 2.1 (palette.ilbm) gets converted to palette.prefs during the upgrade, and gets messed up.

The solution is to delete the envarc:sys/palette.prefs file and reboot. Problem solved.
