Hello there my fellow forum chummies,

With a heavy heart today I must ask if anyone has an A2000 rev 4.5+ (would love a rev6.x) motherboard.

So if you have an A2000 motherboard to sell, please let me know =)

heres a rev 4.5 =)

heres a rev 6.2 =)

The original 4.5 motherboard I got from G-H has died, I think its a CPU driving problem, alas with no scope its not going to be fixed unless I replace all the logic, both hard and discrete =(

I have tried several CPU's and alas thats my confirmation =(, any help would be appreciated =)

Friend, I can suggest you to look the TTL on the left of the crystal, it is a common culprit for bad behaved and non-booting A2000.

Prefer replace it with a 54xxxxx unit instead the ordinary 74xxxxx series.

If everything fails, I can send you a 6.x board with that TTL replaced, but I think it will be an outrageous amount of money for postage. :|

Thanks for the heads up my friend,

your offer is indeed wonderful my friend, even if postal services kills everything, I am touched by the offer, I have a HUGE box here I need to send you, my theory is I will pack it full of AS MUCH as I can find before they crucify me at the post-office.

but just to confirm the TTL are you refering to "U302: 74LS32N" ... hmm of so 54LS32N here we come =D!!!

thats a point actualy now I come to think it, the 54xxxs series....where does you get them from?

The MIL-spec 54 series? :run:

They are very hard to find nowadays... :banghead: But grab if you find, they worth the higher price.

Good luck :D - I never got around to changing the TLL chip that rkauer mentioned, so give that a bash on the one I gave you!

As small recognition for your A608 Projekt (y) . I have here a Rev.6.2 Board for 20€ including shipping (insured from Germany for 16€ ..) its yours.

The Battery was leaking, but it works. Unfortunaly one pin in the first zorro slot is bent. You have to be carefull when you want to use a Zorrocard in this slot.
