Hi,

Im looking to buy an A4000 keyboard. I was carting my newly purchased A4000 home from work when I accidentally dropped the keyboard and broke the caps lock key  :x

Alas the key bit under the key itself is busted, so it looks like I'll have to replace the whole keyboard :(

I'll try to get some put up tonight - some caseless hardcore A4000 linked up to my LCD TV... will that do?

Ahhh thanks Zetr0! Unfortunately I wont be able to pick it up until June, as Im in the US right now and wont be visiting my parents until then. But I shall post fixed keyboard pr0n and maybe some A1200 with accelerator pr0n (card is also sitting at my parents) when I get back!

Ach,

Its good enough that you're giving me the key for free... I didnt want to impose any further.

Anyway as promised some A4000 pr0n. Taken with shaky iPhone cam. Backstory to this: I bought this off some bloke called VintageAmigan on Ebay... he had two or three A4000's to sell and I decided to scoop one up. Everything seems to be in working order, apart from the bust keyboard that I caused. Sometimes when I power up (say 1 in 5 times), the display is a wee bit corrupted. Might be a failing chip somewhere, but I can live with that for now... these machines will all die in the end :-(

BTW Anyone recommend a place in North America that does Amiga repairs... apart from Doomy? ;-)

Re: WTB: A4000 Keyboard

Hey! Wow! The CD Writer in your A4000 is the very first CD Writer I ever owned. :D Quite a nice HP drive at the time and i still have it in the P2 PC it originally came with. Seeing that the drive fits inside the A4000 OK I might move it from the PC to my A4000. :)
