I've recently upgraded the PCB in my X-Arcade dual stick arcade controller with the newest version PCB that supports USB. I therefore now have the original PCB spare from this upgrade. It was fully working when I removed it from the arcade controller.

It is the first generation PSB from X-Arcade and uses a PS/2 keyboard pass through method to function. You connect a PS2 keyboard to the X-arcade controller, and then the controller to the PC via PS/2 port. The controller works by assigning keyboard keys to each joystick direction or fire button on the controller so it can be used in any game you wish.

Whilst this was initially designed specifically to go into the X-Arcade built controllers, the full control schematics are available on the X-Arcade (US) and Gremlin (UK) sites, so you could use this control PCB within your own arcade cabinet or arcade controller build/setup to wire up and control your own joystick and fire button setup.

Price: £10 plus postage.

Included will be the PCB itself, plus the serial to PS/2 cables to allow this to be connected to a PC with a PS2 keyboard port. I can also include a (PS/2) PC keyboard at no extra cost if you need one.

Hi there Harrison,

is this still up for sale, if so then I would like to express interest in it and could you tell me how much the postage would be in the UK plus what would be the method of payment ie Paypal etc.

Cheers,
Allen.

I will work the price out for you on Friday. And payment by Paypal will be fine. :)

Thanks Harrison,

I look forward to trying this out and saving my keyboard from some serious abuse :D

All the best,
Allen

Update: Item sold to Allen1, money received and item posted this week.

Hi there Harrison,

the parcel has arrived today so I will be hunting through my connectors for a matching one to wire this up a little later :)

All the best,

Allen
