any idea of the requirements, memory useage? install files etc?

thanks:)

at the end of the video , there is a webpage, where it can be download from

out of time, but will test it in he evening, more free time to spare :)

Already downloaded and installed last week. Author gave the download link on Facebook.

The launcher is awesome and very parsimonious with the Amiga resources.

CountRaven reminded about it on amigaplanet.gr , just installed and it is indeed very nice! It needs a couple of features though but it's impressive!

what it needs IMHO is a search box to write the name of what you want to run , plus an option to disable the "loading" animation so you can see the whdload info box :)

Hi alls !

Thanx to @luy32 to have created this thread and to keropi to have noticed this thread to me. :)

I'm actually working on the 0.9x releases who will be the next big step before the final 1.0 release. Some new 0.8x may be available before to fix some issue before launching the 0.9x release.

The ToDo list is really long but i'm still opened to all good ideas !

Nice stuff, I noticed this in mfilos' video earlier and thought it's worth a try :)

awesome! can't wait to see what 0.9x brings us :D

X-bEnCh 0.87Beta is available on : www.jimneray.com

Release note:
- Fast volume fader fix.
- cLi should now work with all setups. (SuperPlus displaymode and strange rom included)
- Added a path requester for the installer.
- New path checks in the installer to prevent guru.

Rreat! CLI no longers crashes on me and looks fine :)
The installer's text looks wrong for me, works fine otherwise

Might I suggest a couple of ideas?
Maybe put an option so x-bench goes directly on launchers list when started (ESC still brings you back to the main menu)
and in the launcher list some status line that has in it the name of the lists that the user has set up and when you press TAB it cycles through them?

Hello keropi.

Ok noticed. Thank for the screen grab. I'll fix this for the next release

This option already exist. Look in the setup you can choose where X-bEnCh start (Menu/Launcher/cLi) :p

Mmm ... I'm not sure to understand this request

heh, I never saw the option of where to start :D

about the last idea... made a mock-up pic, the last red line now has the list names that the user has set up and pressing TAB to change lists also highlights the name on the red line...

The option is in the "Startup" tab ;)

OK !! I already have something planned with this "red line" but this may be combined without problems. That is a really good idea.

^ glad you liked it :)
I suspect you would put the search-box there? :D

well, my amiga always reboot when i try to install the demo.
After this i must validate my CF card.

the installed xbench is not working, i get an error message that the Xbench is not correctly installed.

Do i make something wrong ?

Hi Radu14m.

For sure something has going wrong ..

What have you done exactly and what version of xb have you tried to use ?

With what you've write it seems that you use the release 0.85b with the knowed issue with the installer. This was happening when the install path was not ending by : or /

If i'm right you can download the last 0.87b release that's fixing this issue :)
