Dear All,

being the proverbial cheap b-stard ik dreamed up possibly another way of having my C64, C128 and Amigas share the lcd monitor on my desk.
This attempt involves a Hauppauge WinTV-Go.
At this very moment i can attach a antennacable to the card and watch tv on my computer by means of the WinTV32 software.
So far, so good it seems.
Slight prob....C64 seems to escape the tuner, cant get a clear picture.
I seem to remember my C64 from the old day had a adjustmentscrew next to the RF connector, but this machine doesnt :(
Need to test a few more machines, need to work through the software, just need time to get things wright.

Grtz, PymerOne.

A C64, can't help you there with your hardware setup. Maybe us s-video or composite. I did have a few 1k2 and 4k's amiga do wonders in recent lcd/plasma tv's! that 200/400/600 magic frame thing they do works wonders on pal hires 1280x600 for workbench and hi graphics displays. In 15khz mode that is.

Try setting the tuner to cable mode, it will scan a wider range. However, the C64 should be within the normal range. It might be possible that it is clashing with something else, but the C64 should take precedence over any RF that is floating about in the air. Otherwise you could try and check every channel by hand. If someone knows the default channel C64s were set too this might make things a little easier.

RF channel 30-40 iirc and the (pal) amiga would be somewhere around CH32/33
*edit*
c64=rf (h32-33)
128=composite (AVxxx)
amiga=scart=rgb=av ehhhh xx

That might work

Thnxx Guys,

I will try again tomorrow :)
Also i have to look up my A500 with A520.
Found today my A1200 has a slight case of broken solderjoints on the rf...need to cure that one too pronto.

Grtz, PymerOne.
