Shameless recidivist
This is a Yobo FC Game Console, a clone of the Nintendo Famicom (the Japanese NES, for those not in the know.) Included are:
(Alternatively, I could go with the box's claim that it's "GOOD QUALITY SAME AS CD GAME LEVEL" and "HIGH PERFORMANCE"
)
All that said, it does work, mostly glitch-free, and that's more than you can say for a lot of Famiclones. For sheer accuracy you'd be better off just getting an AV Famicom, but with the prices they can fetch, you could do worse than settling for this.
Some pictures:
Given the compromised quality of the system, I'm only asking $15 + S/H. Not a great piece of hardware, but good enough for someone just getting into Famicom imports, I think. Any takers?
Note: I'm also selling this over on the Vintage Computer Forum, so this will go to the first buyer on either thread.
- The console, power adapter, cables, and controllers.
- An adapter for playing NES games on it (the Famicom's cartridge connector is different.) I know this works with North American NES carts - I don't know if there's any regional differences for NES consoles in other countries.
- A Famicom cartridge of a game called "shogi," which is some kind of chess variant. (Got it with another purchase of mine and don't find it that interesting, so you're welcome to it
)
