I've just got "The Future Was Here" and whilst its good its a bit too techy/nerdy for me and was wondering what else you lot have read that's related to the Amiga and the whole 16 bit, nascent digital world era? "Commodork: Tales Of A BBS Junkie" was a great laugh and is more of my vibe.

Also what happened to Bagnalls book on the Amiga? Was it just vapourware? It seems crazy that we haven't had a good UK/Eurocentric Amiga book in the years that have rolled on as it had a huge following and an even bigger scene. Either way it was totally magical growing up in an analog world and being there to watch the digitization start to kick in thank to the ahead of its time Amiga as there was a time when I was computer mad and now, paradoxically, I find myself wanting to bring some "offline time" back into the world as I'm not too keen on the "reality" all of this tech has created...

Release date for Commodore: The Amiga Years is Summer/Autumn 2017, while Commodore: The Early Years is due to release in early 2018.

Is that certain this time as its been pushed back multiple times and was due many moons ago.

I dunno. Those release dates are official; taken from Variant Press website (till they modify them... again)!

Yup. I'm sceptical as I remember reading a tweet that said it had been placed on hold indefinitely. We'll see.

If I recall correctly, Brian said that he resumed his work on the book a couple of months ago.
