There must be something wrong! This card is 128 mb ram or 256 mb. Never 96 mb

but how is this possible?
I thought it was 4*24 MB
so maybe 4*32 but with one faulty chip ? (so 3*32=96Mo) but does it work despite that ?
there is no jumper on that card to (de)activate a chip
