When I bought it I knew the tape deck was not working so I rewired the computer to take an outside device which I use a tape recorder.
It also comes with a SCART cable which works great on certain TV's. It wont work with my Tube TV but works great on my HDTV so I will also throw in an RF cable just in case.
I also have a joystick adaptor which will let you use nay other joystick from Atari to the Amiga so your not limited to just Sinclair Joysticks.
I do have a few games which are all loose and no cases

ZX Spectrum +2B (rewired to take a sound device)
Tape recorder
SCART and RF cable
power supply unit
joystick adaptor cable

Games : Doombase, Super Wonder Boy, Super Scramble Sim, Predator, The Vindicator, Beach Buggy Sim, Trivial Persuit, Ace, Yogi Bear, Sword Slayer, Sam Fox Strip Poker, Bionic Command 48k & 128k, Daley Thompsons Olympic Challenge, Cabal, Renegade 3, Street Fighter, Robocop, Frank Brunos Boxing, Lightforce, Football Manager 2, Power Drift, Trantor, Gryzor, Nigel Mansells Grand Prix, Swords & Sorcery, Street Gang, Mag Max, Ninja Hamster, Pro Snooker, Hollywood Poker, Every Second Counts.

Aww, no! That sucks. What did they do to it? Is any of it salvageable?

This is one of those times where something happens that was not expected, kids are great but they don't always do as you expect

We discussed what to do with the remains and the best decision was to keep the machine there for spares in case the urge to get another +2 took control and he could use bits to keep the new one alive.

It's sad that the machine got destroyed but at least no one was harmed in the process. We jointly agreed on the outcome and as mentioned, I was also fully refunded :)

The question is, do we leave feedback?
I don't have a problem with leaving positive feedback in this instance because everything was done correctly apart from the kids being kids :D

Cheers,

Allen

Given that no transaction took place, it would be inappropriate to leave feedback. That's my take at least.

Hi there Andy,

that's a fair enough suggestion, the main thing is that folk know that there was no bad feelings or anything like that, we have traded a couple of times before and everything was more than 100% OK.

Thanks for the advice and maybe this thread should now be closed

Well indeed. If there was a failure, it would have been appropriate to leave negative feedback. In this instance the transaction was mutually terminated, so I think we're best off just leaving it there.

I'll close the thread for you now.
