Visiting EU for business I had a chance to spend last weekend with great Amiga crowd gathered around 40th celebration of beloved brand taking place in Am Nordpark hall in Mönchengladbach, Germany.
The Amiga40 prepared by Markus and his team was one of best organized non-profit events I had a chance to attend. Big Kudos!

Two busy days filled with super interesting presentations, news, members exhibits and multiple vendor sale booths went quickly but left me with sense of purpose in what I do for the hobby and in retro community.

Meeting old and making new friends is the most rewarding feelings you can experience during such events.

On site shopping opportunity although unplanned fueled my Amiga project pipeline for months to come. A real cherry on the cake, an important to me community support gesture and the treat most of us need from time to time.

Saturday was particularly busy but enjoyable with so many visitors coming to event.

Sunday was more relaxing and allowed me to focus on specific exhibits I wanted to visit and discuss with the owners. I stopped by David Pleasance table to grab his book with super interesting untold story of Commodore. Had an amazing chat and his book signed. Thank you so much, David.

One very special person I had a pleasure to finally meet during Amiga40 is AmigaBill. Bill has a very special place in my Amiga retro journey. Broadcasting his awesome video podcasts weekly, Bill brings us all together every Sunday funday afternoon of US time. It's great opportunity to learn about latest news from Amiga world, chat with members, share photos of our old gear, new projects we work on and see what's cooking in Amiga Mama's kitchen. The podcast keeps that feelings to be part of the Amiga family. Thanks AmigaBill for that. Great job!

I would be unfair if I won't mention my great countryman I had a chance to meet during the event, extremely talented designers and amazing developers heavily contributing to entire Amiga community: Michal from PiStorm team,

and Andrzej responsible for Warp accelerators family D&D. Can't wait for their new Warp accelerator design completion for A4000.
