And so it began

Hi All,
Given my current adventures in the world of the Amiga, I thought that rather than starting a thread, I would try out this fancy new blog system. Never having done a blog before, you might have to cut me some slack!
I will add to this as events progress, but thought I would start with a little bit of history.

Back in 2012, I saw an a1200 on ebay that was quite near me, and my interest was piqued. Back when I was a young person, my best mate and I spent lots of time playing on his c64, and then Amiga. My family could never afford such luxury (we had a Plus 4), but I still remembered the the first time we saw and used the Amiga 500 - wow, what a feeling of awe.

So I thought I would treat myself and relive my youth.
The madness soon followed - first came a CF hard drive, then a 8mb ram expansion, then the Blizzard 1230 mk IV, then the Indy Mk 2, then the Blizzard 1260.......

Anyway, 2 years have passed and that left me with an a1200 running CWB 3.9 from an 8GB CF card, with a Blizzard 1260 and Indy Mk2. Obviously there was more fun and games along the way, but its already slipping from my memory and really this will be more about the last few months, which I will get to in the next few posts.

The whole experience has been made better by my involvement here and the support provided by the good people on Amibay, and I would like to thank you all for that.

More to follow.....
