TF1260, SOLAS, and a quandry

Well, I turned my attention to my wedge a1200 and made some progress - I fitted a black keyboard and a SOLAS, although managed to blow something up during the process and had to send the motherboard off for repair (Cheers to Rob Cranley for sorting this) - but anyway, its back and the SOLAS is fitted and works well. I have not attached a picture as I am waiting on a new white a1200.net case that will come at some point this summer hopefully and then I will post pictures.
What I also did was get my hands on a Rev 5 68060 and then a TF1260 (because although the Blizzard 1230 MKIV is being honest perfectly good - once you get used to a workbench etc running on a 68060 like on my other two amigas, it is hard to go back. Also I expected this wedge amiga to be my kind of third choice machine behind the others, however I have to say with the black keys and SOLAS in there, it has rapidly become my daily driver) Go0se kindly also sorted it out with a cooler, fan and the THERM header so the SOLAS can control the fan based on that (this is not quite working 100% yet but Rob is on the case).

I was planning on doing something similar to what I had done with my Checkmate a1200 to show the ehide activity, but this is where life gets complicated. I got a CF adapater with the extra pin for the LED out, BUT the fan on the TF1260 obstructs where the LED adapter would go. Not insurmountable I know, but a pain in an already rather crowded case.
Also....the Rev 5 68060 overclocks happily at 66.5mhz and 62mhz (but not above). Now I am fine with that and knew that was the likley case when I got it. BUT, it appears that if I use the ehide to boot from then it will only overclock to 62mhz. Thats a little odd. Now I am getting 2mb/s out of the motherboard IDE, vs 4mb/s on the ehide. Can I be bothered with the hassle of sorting the activity led, and losing the 67 overclock, just to get a better HD speed. Possibly not.......
