Oops I did it again......

Well, although my two projects for my Checkmate a1200 are ongoing, (and are/will be the subject of further posts), as I have said previously that is probably as far as I can take that Amiga, and I have concluded that my desktop a1200 with mediator is pretty much complete as well. It then struck me that my spares box contains various bits and bobs including a fully loaded aca1221 and a B1230MKIV (I have been loathe to let these back onto the market), and a number of PSUs, CF adapters, etc. Then I read a thread on EAB about issues with FASTATAs and setpatch on AOS 3.2 and now I am looking at the FASTATA in my spares box that I could never get to work properly and am wondering......Could it be that simple?
So, long story short, despite trying not to, I ended up bidding on ebay on another wedge a1200. It arrives this week hopefully......Whilst I tell myself that I can combine this with my spares to make a nice machine that I can then move on, I dont actually have a wedge a1200 anymore.........If I havent actually blown up my rapid road (the jury is out on that currently) then my new freeway USB is also spare, so I could possibly put together a nice wedge a1200 with fastata, B1230MK4, Freeway USB, nice PSU.....

And we start again......
