Its been ages since I have had time to even switch on any of my amigas due to work and family stuff, which is quite dissapointing, especially as now I have a SOLAS board waiting to be fitted. Hopefully soon I shall have a chance as I have been waiting for years to be able to get one of those. It will be going in my checkmate cased a1200. I even had to get a modified version of the little LED board that pulls in the CF activity from the TF1260 as I dont think th SOLAS would fit.

Another problem is that Amiga lives in the office at the end of the garden which is FREEZING at this time of year, so maybe I will have to wait......

Mine live in mine as well.

At this time of year I have a couple of small heaters I switch on to at least warm it up a little bit.

When I bought my son his (now mine) Amiga 600, we lived in an old (1832) stone cottage. Cold and damp in winter. It sometimes wouldn't switch on until the room warmed up, Probably more because of the damp, I'd think. I just told him to leave it powered up, which worked ok. Didn't do too much for the temperature in the room though!

Its more the cost of those little heaters these days that is the issue.....
