I think you still need to wait if Pistorm ever appears for A4000, and it is not sure if the Emplant would work with it. Your best choice for now is some overclocked 060 card + fast RTG. Possibly Warp for A4000 is arriving soon.

You should be ok with 8pin cable. If you do not connect all the GNDs it will still work.

Use the one with 6pins. The other one is possibly missing one ground signal, but will likely work as well.
