The zoomfloppy connects on one side via usb to your PC and via the normal disk cable to the 1541 etc that you use to read the floppies. Oh and I highly recommend them too, I'm using mine on my laptop running Win 7 x64.

In a word Yes :lol: But not a bad idea for getting round the postage costs, pity it doesn't work too good in Australia as they go by parcel dimensions for working out if you can ship it at letter rate or parcel, and parcel is just obscenely expensive to anywhere.

Just purchased this after being on the fence for a while, Amazon say it should be delivered on Friday just in time for Christmas.

Why not put a common socket on the end of the cable supplied and then just make connecting cables for the machines you want to use it with ?

What sort of cases are these being put in or are they being used as naked PCB's ?
