yes it should be fine, the manufacturers specs only show what was available at the time of being published. I have had other brands that showed a smaller capacity than this one and accommodated 2tb drives e.g. 8tb total... Cheers,

Well i`m still using my Quadra 700 (which is up for sale ahem ;), used it for every day use despite having an i7 mac sat next to it. Still prefer the type 2 mouse / keyboard over the shiney looking new apple thing next to it. Don`t get any crap from it, always fires up and no `oh upate this etc`...
