Ironically, my rapid road is still working after I think 5 years and being used in several of my Amigas and is currently in a checkmate case attached to a SOLAS, and using a SFF power supply that Jens was convinced would likley result in the universe ending.

I have a blog here on amibay and almost every second or third post details one disaster or another....... My personal pet hate is the FASTATA as despite trying several over the years I never managed to get these to work, and usually broke stuff whilst trying to fit them. In the end, a while...

Look at a solas board.....

Over clocking the rev 6 to 94 or 100 takes it up to 5 plus mb/s. The rev 5 doesn't like overclocking so much.

Well thats interesting. I have a Rev6 TF1260 that gets around 4 mb/s with no overclocking. I now have a second TF1260 with Rev 5 that gets the same. It would be good if people could confirm what speed they are getting with what Rev to confirm your theory.

@Amigaz did you get anywhere with this?

All checks out as expected - great seller - positive feedback left. (I havent got the TF1260 to play with yet - but my builder has confirmed the Rev etc. Once I have the card I will of course post my experience on my Amibay blog (for the one or two people who occassionaly glance) :ROFLMAO:

Mk3 will be fine. I have no experience of Pistorms though, I am a bit more old school i am afraid. If you are using the pistorms storage to boot from etc and access, not sure where the solas will get the hd activity signal from?
