However... after getting this far I was unable to remove the solder holding the old switches in place. Not sure what type of solder it is, but nothing like I'm used to working with. I even went up to 450°.
Thank you Watson, it was almost a two-pipe mystery. :) That did the trick, they unscrew, normal thread.
Just for future reference and anyone looking to do the same. Here's a photo of the part removed.
Hi everyone,
I haven't posted in a long time, hope you are all ok.
I wanted to ask how I would remove the joysticks on the Xbox one elite controller please? The outermost buttons on these sticks are magnetic which fit onto a stalk and dome thing that has a quarter turn screw in the top of the...
Hi everyone,
I know a few of use here are FS fans. I was considering getting XPlane or Prepar3d but have just discovered on Youtube that Microsoft is/are making a new flight sim. It appears to be legit and from the brief info I've seen it looks fantastic...

All the best.

+1 for Fusion 360. It's very intuitive, more-so than some of the other popular packages IMHO. There's also a good user base and support from Autodesk with regular software fixes and/or enhancements, plus a community forum.
