Hi all,
We retrieved my late father in law's Amstrad CPC 464 from the loft, I'd assumed it was a 6128 as Mrs Fitz said it had a built in FDD but it's actually a 664!
I'm guessing this is a pretty uncommon computer as everything I can find online is with built in tape deck and an extra...
I remember Super Street Fighter 2 being a really decent version on the 3DO.
The Doom port could just be a bad port, for example the 32x port was on a small screen too but it's since had a home brew port that plays fine full screen so the 3DO is probably capable too.
Managed to get a really compact angle adapter and I've re cased the Amiga in a .net case, which only has one guard rail on the accelerator, there should be enough flex to get the cable in. Will try and report back!
Yeah but you can't plug it in with the card in situ, I was able to get the connector on with the board out of the case with the flex of the accelerator on the connector but then you can't put it back in the case assembled lol
When the accelerator is flat on the connector you can't plug anything...
Bought a small angle 3.5mm jack, still doesn't fit. What a stupid design to put it in the one place you wouldn't be able to plug anything in lol
I don't really want to solder anything so I'm a bit stumped how to use the audio 😒
I possibly kept one of them for myself but I don't think Mike ever recapped it. Although probably it's one I bought later as I sold almost all my stuff in 2014 and bought it back at twice the price a few years later lol
