Yeah but you can't plug it in with the card in situ, I was able to get the connector on with the board out of the case with the flex of the accelerator on the connector but then you can't put it back in the case assembled lol

When the accelerator is flat on the connector you can't plug anything in. The case physically prevents flexing the card upwards on the slot.

Honestly they should have put the connector on the top.
 
Managed to get a really compact angle adapter and I've re cased the Amiga in a .net case, which only has one guard rail on the accelerator, there should be enough flex to get the cable in. Will try and report back!

Yay sound card is working, playing an MP3 through AHI now :)

Let's see if it works with Quake
 
Is it only the PPC version of Quake that has AHI?

Tested a few apps like ASP (spectrum emulator) AHI worked great and so does the Paula passthrough.
