Hi guys,
I've got a small handful of big box Amiga's that I acquired with no keyboards!
I really don't want to use PC keyboard adapters, so I'm looking to see if anyone has any old Amiga keyboards, working or not, which I can then adapt/fix for the relevant box it will go with. I don't expect...
I hate it when companies impose the classic password criteria of eight characters and a capital. It makes the password so difficult to remember.
My last one was HueyDeweyLouieDonaldDaisyGoofyMickeyMinnieSydney! :D
The older version of the 1084s uses a 6-pin DIN RGB lead. I've got one of them myself. The SCART version has those DIN ports missing/covered.
The pins are essentially identical - it's just a different plug. You could make an adapter to go from DIN to DB9 or vice-versa easily enough.

Interesting how much smaller the US packaging is to the Australian packaging (same artwork, but the box is much longer and slightly narrower - C64 on one side, PSU on the other side, not in front).
Keyboard arrived today, well wrapped and in great nick. Many thanks! Positive feedback ensues...
Had a fun time comparing the UK keyboard layout to the Aussie one a few minutes ago too. :)

I tell you what though, I wish we had SCART-enabled TV's in Australia - you...
I'm using one of these devices with my Amigas. It accepts RGB from the SCART input and does a very nice job converting it into a number of selectable output modes ranging from 640x480 all the way through to 1080p (though there seems to be some lag at this level). I use it in 1280x1024 mode to...
We got a more world-generic keyboard in the Aussie-delivered A1200 with the smaller Enter key, but the extra key that it made way for was simply left blank and does absolutely nothing on the US keyboard map that we use.

Yeah, if I look at my C64's keyboard...
Ouch.
Speed and tracking is not that important in this case - how about the Royal Mail? I've received stuff in good time that way before at a reasonable price.
