got mine all setup over the weekend, including configuring MiamiDX with it. It runs great and speeds a very good all things considered.
i made a video tutorial of it being setup/configured and some testing online

Initially i thought that since i was running an 030/40mhz it would have helped but it doesnt appear to. i think its related to chip ram speed and DMA .
in other words an A4000 (with RTG) should be able to handle higher speeds than an A500. I was running an 8 color magic wb. If i drop it to 2...

second in line for - Amiga 500 with a motherboard revision 6, with 512 KB chip RAM and 512 KB Fast RAM. The Amiga 500 is PAL and it is only going for 30 USA.
well , my opinion may not be popular but here goes.....as an owner of 2 candy cabs - my advice is to forget the Xarcade and MAME stuff.
you want a dedicated cabinet. Japanese Candy Cabs are the ones you want. I would recommend you pursue the Sega Blast City lead. They are excellent arcade...

030 performance is something i will definitely look into once my hardware arrives. It should be running better than that something closer to 7fps id image - i should be able to reuse some DoomAttack asm code to optimize.
