If i understood Jens from Individualcomputers right the 25mhz version of the A600 ACA is sitting at his company waiting to be picked up by the courier. But cause of the very heavy snowfalls no one dares to drive to his place right now. Thats the downside of living a bit remote...
Forecasts...
crossing my fingers so you guys get it before Christmas
Mine reached my home last Monday, and i was not there as i was on a business trip ... my neighbor was nice enough to take it in custody so no evilbay guy could steal it and sell it for 2t of gold.
Installed it...
mine should already be at home, but i can't check as i am on a business trip all week ... oh the agony
Lets hope the Hermes guy did not just drop it in front of the house or attempted to stuff it in the mailbox
The material wasn't the problem :D the problem was printing: "fragile" on the envelope. That's like an invitation to the courier to do nasty things with it.
Jens posted AIBB modules for both the 28mhz and the upcoming 56mhz version of the card on A1K.org:

I think she looks nice for her age ^_^
though i am unsure if the caps are all ok. I guess sometime soon i will have to get a new set of them and do an anti-aging surgery...
Speaking of surgery, anyone got a source for a full set of case screws for the 1200 ? When i got her most screws where...
more precise teh cnet.device file is in DEVS:networks and Miami init finds it, but when i try to open the card i get "could not open cnet.device 0, maybe the device is already used by bla"
i am not completely sure if i got all the pins back in as far as they need to be though
drat, and i am...
yes, the cnet device driver is located in the devs: folder
ill check the pins now ...
O_O
some of the outer Pins where badly pushed in the socket, i will try again now, i have pushed them back into the socket as far as i believe they are supposed to be.
reassembling my miggy and trying again
Hi,
I have been trying to get my A1200 running at my ethernet for some days now. But for some reason my little girl won't accept my PCMCIA cards ... at all
System is a PAL 1D4 Rev 1200 board.
Whenever i try to get Miami to run i get a "could not open CNET.DEVICE" error.
I tried this so far...
Yes, the google link confused me, too.
http://obligement.free.fr/documents/ami_beg.txt
the original source is already in english ^_^
For a moment i thought google had managed to get their translator to work perfectly on technical texts. But then i remember all the bad machinetranslated...
kekeke
Now its another week of business consulting abroad (Frankfurt) and after that i hopefully will have received my PCMCIA WLAN Card from that evil other bay and my PCMCIA fix from amigakit
Is there any other solution than PCMCIA for the Amiga1200 to get ethernet running?
Though "back" needs to be defined a bit more i guess. The back part relates to the Amiga itself :D
I guess i went through a regular Commodore ownership cycle. Started with a C=64 as first PC and upgraded to an C=128 when it was available cause i wanted more RAM to make bigger Basic Programs...
