Does this just drop into a breadbin C64 (ie same voltage etc) with no modifications? I bought a C64 recently and I think the SID has gone (replaced the PSU, everything now working except audio is really low volume) This might be a good replacement! Thx

I wouldn't be too bothered about the DS ruling, that's been in effect for quite a while (over a year? Maybe even a couple of years). If it was going to affect the everdrive cards- it would have done it by now. If customs open it up, what will they see ? A bunch of pcbs that don't really mean...

Well the Everdrive 64 does seem to support controller pak saves- however if the pak is connected when the N64 is switched on, the game gives an error saying the pak is corrupted. However, if you only put in the pak after the game has started (and it prompts for the pak)- it's fine... Anyone...
