edit: tell me how to check its working ok before any sale, it boots to a LOADER prompt but i'm not sure what else to do.

That's all it does, I have the same one, I made a thread over on lemon64 asking abiut it, It basically works as a bit of a fastloader and that's it.
 
That cant be an Action Replay MK3 can it? I had one years ago, it had a "Text Editor" that you could alter the on screen text with, dropped in later versions. It was very similiar to the later ones in setup/menu etc
This must be either MK1 or 2
 
If this acts as a fast loader, I'd be interested in it!

How does it compare with other fast loader carts?
 
Maybe it's just a loader as sneeker says. I read there's several versions some with two buttons, and others with a switch like this one.

The board says "datel" and the rom says "ar3"

The Manual here refers to two buttons and a menu which this doesn't seem to have:

So yes it's a loader. How fast? That manual says 5x if that's to be believed.

hi Moora I have your pm ( edit have you declared interest in the thread ?) - I'm sorry I don't have a tape drive or floppy so can't test. It behaves like the red border version described in that lemon64 thread. Either way how could it be slower than standard!
